Required run rate and reading a chase

Required run rate (RRR) = runs still needed divided by overs left. Compare it with the current run rate: chasing side ahead if RRR is below what they've been scoring. Wickets in hand matter as much: 8 wickets left justifies risk; 2 left means the chase usually dies. RRR above ~12 in a T20 is desperate territory.
